Amazon EU director will present at CSCMP European Conference

Amazon's Sean Olson-Roy leads a strong lineup of sessions on supply chain's latest trends and developments.

Sean Olson-Roy, European Union (EU) director at Amazon, will present on how the online retail giant is executing its transportation strategy in a customer-driven business environment at the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals' (CSCMP) 2018 European Conference. The event will be held in Rotterdam, Netherlands, on May 17-18.

The conference kicks off with a presentation from Allard Castelein, chief executive officer of the Port of Rotterdam, on his vision of the future supply chain. Additionally, Javier Gomes, program manager at Heineken Sales and Operations Planning Core, will provide a deep-dive view of global supply chain planning.

Other topics to be covered during the conference include blockchain/supply chain finance, disruptive technology, human capital, innovation/trends, and robotics/artificial intelligence.
