Packed with video clips, animation, and case studies, CSCMP's Web-based course Supply Chain Management Essentials (SCME) provides a solid grounding in the fundamentals of supply chain management.

SCME is presented in three modules and covers topics in supply chain planning, processes, and global operations. Each module contains a set of four video episodes and related presentation materials, a recommended reading list, and a brief case study. The 40-minute episodes are broken down into multiple parts, and users can pause, skip, rewind, and repeat sections to ensure they have a full understanding of the material.

Supply Chain Management Essentials, which is presented by Auburn University's Dr. Brian Gibson, has a proven track record; more than 1,200 Master of Business Administration (MBA) and undergraduate students at two universities have completed the course. In course evaluations, students commend SCME for its detailed content, positive impact on learning, creative use of graphics, relevant video clips, and ease of use.
