The Biden Administration recently announced the National Cybersecurity Strategy, pointing out that “too much of the responsibility for cybersecurity has fallen on individual users and small organizations.”
Following the announcement of the National Cybersecurity Strategy, the National Institute of Standards and Technology announced the creation of the Small Business Cybersecurity Community of Interest.
The goal of the group is to get more input from front line small businesses and come up with more tools and resources to help small businesses defend against the steady uptick of targeted cyber attacks.
CybersecurityGuide.org just published a report, “The latest attack surface: Small business and cybersecurity,” which covers these latest developments and provides tactical resources.
The report covers a number of cybersecurity resources available to small business owners.
