In this whitepaper, we delve deep into the interplay between human relationships and technology in logistics specifically. The inadequacies of the way things are currently done have been laid bare for all to see. We look to understand the inadequacies of modern logistics networks and the steps needed in order to rebuild the industry out of the embers of the current, ongoing supply chain challenges.
Starting at a very high level, supply chain is a complex web of participants. The essential and obvious collaborators are assumed to be the external entities and parties that are involved directly in the supply chain – suppliers, manufacturers, carriers, logistics brokers et al.
However, with today's evolving and involved supply chains the internal entities – employees, sales, logistics function, and other units internally in an organization are often overlooked pieces of the puzzle. A successful and robust supply chain entails the inclusion of ALL entities as collaborators and enablers, that is internal and external.
