Cydome, the leading independent provider of ship-wide cybersecurity, is announcing today its entrance into the Latin American maritime sector through its partnership with ICE (Israel Cybersecurity Enterprise), the world-class cybersecurity service, offering top Israeli defence systems in Latin America. ICE’s offering of Cydome will open the Latin American market to top cyber defence, custom-made for the maritime industry and its particular threats and regulations.

ICE is focused solely on selling cybersecurity solutions, and is comprised of industry leaders with years of experience in both government and the private sector, including military offence and defence. The Cydome proactive defence solution is unique in providing an always-on approach to cybersecurity for every individual element of the ship’s IT and OT systems. Maritime industry players using ICE in Latin America and Mexico will now benefit from the highest standard of security with Cydome’s offering.

Nir Ayalon, CEO of Cydome, said: “It is an important development to have been chosen by ICE and to now have our solution available to the maritime sector in Latin America. We have worked closely with ICE during their review and evaluation process of our technology and today’s announcement marks a significant progress in our strategy to provide the highest level of defence to the maritime sector in as many geographies as possible. Our total focus is always to enable ship owners to protect their ships and the global industry, and by adding Latin America via ICE we are now a step further in doing so.”

Nathan Levy, CEO of ICE, said: “We are delighted to be collaborating with Cydome to bring a cyber defense solution to the maritime space, an area that is evolving and exposed to cyber-attacks. ICE has always been committed to introducing protection solutions from emerging cyber in a wide range of fields into Latin America and, with our common uncompromising approach, Cydome and ICE will bring our customers an effective response 24/7.”

Cydome’s cybersecurity solution offers 24/7 IT and OT protection from threats and is uniquely investing a large part of revenues in R&D. The company’s mission is to advance research into maritime cybercrime, foresee and mitigate threats, while its ‘no compromise’ approach offers clients the highest possible protection.
