InfinityQS Recognizes Manufacturers are Accelerating Digital Transformation by Turning to the Cloud

FAIRFAX, Va. – Nov. 11, 2020 – InfinityQS® International, Inc. (InfinityQS), the global authority on data-driven enterprise quality, shares it has seen an acceleration in cloud-enabled digital transformation projects as manufacturers continue to overcome the many challenges in the wake of COVID-19. This is subsequently ushering in a new era of smart and sustainable manufacturing, at a pace faster than projected prior to the pandemic.

According to Jason Chester, Director of Global Channel Programs at InfinityQS, the urgent requirement for effective remote working, operational performance improvements, and increased agility—as well as protecting workers—has been the catalyst for an industry-wide change. This is evident in the huge spikes in demand for professional services for InfinityQS’ cloud-native Quality Intelligence platform, Enact®, as it enables manufacturers to remotely monitor and optimize production environments and make real-time decisions from any location, including away from the shop floor or at home. To support this increased demand, the company has recently expanded its partner network to more than 50 highly skilled global channel partners.

Chester commented, “It’s been a difficult year for everyone, and the manufacturing sector is no exception. Fortunately, the promise of cloud technologies is bearing fruit and providing manufacturers with a much-needed lifeline. Cloud solutions are changing the nature of technology investment by providing manufacturers of all sizes with powerful tools to launch tactical, cost-effective and fast-paced digital transformation projects just when they are most needed.”

Chester added, “These innovations are proving invaluable for manufacturers trying to navigate unpredictable and unstable markets and maintaining continuity in accordance with new government legislation and safety guidelines. Although we have seen unprecedented disruption to global supply chains, manufacturers are effectively adapting their business models and prioritizing digital transformation initiatives to overcome these new challenges.”

He continued: “We are living through very difficult economic times but the speed with which manufacturers are adapting to these changes shows an industry embracing the cloud to drive forward effective and flexible manufacturing operations. As more manufacturers begin moving away from resource-intensive manual processes and outdated legacy plant-floor systems, this will also have an ongoing positive impact across the entire sector.”

Jason concluded: “Looking to the future, we expect this rapid pace of transformation will continue, as businesses continue to prioritize their digital transformation initiatives so they can remain competitive and resilient in the future.”
