CONECT's Northeast Cargo Symposium (NECS) will be held virtually in 2020, with a Trade Day (Nov. 9) and a Transportation Day (Nov. 10). Nationally known speakers include FMC Commissioner Rebecca F. Dye, CBP Executive Assistant Commissioner Brenda Smith, Port of Long Beach Executive Director Mario Cordero, Hapag Lloyd (America) President Uffe Ostergaard, and CONECT Washington Counsel Peter Friedmann. Panel discussions feature leading customs attorneys, customs brokers, ocean and intermodal carriers, and major importers, including Cargill, Tapestry, Bob's Discount Furniture, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Fortune Brands, Gemini Shippers Association, Wine and Spirits Shippers Association, and more.
