The deadline to submit nominations for The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) is approaching. If you know a young leader who has made a difference in the supply chain community, please submit your nomination by February 14, 2020.

CSCMP's Emerging Leader Award was created to acknowlege up-and-coming leaders in the supply chain management field for their meaningful contributions to—and future influence on—the profession.

Selected emerging leaders will represent their peers and be awarded for their achievements with:

  • One complimentary registration to the 2020 CSCMP EDGE conference in Orlando, Florida, September 20-23;
  • Acknowledgement in front of 3,000+ attendees at the annual EDGE conference during the Monday Keynote Session;
  • A spotlight in CSCMP's magazine Supply Chain Quarterly; and
  • Feature coverage in CSCMP member newsletters and EDGE marketing material.

To qualify for the Emerging Leader Award, a nominee must be:

  • A member of CSCMP;
  • 32-years-old or under; and
  • Doing something exceptional outside the normal scope of work which grants distinction. Examples include running a successful business or project, showing promise in management, being a bright roundtable performer, or even a dedicated community volunteer.

Nominees are evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Recognition as an up-and-coming leader.
  • Contribution and commitment to the supply chain industry.
  • Active involvement in CSCMP.
  • Certifications and continuing education.

To submit a nomination or find out more information, please visit cscmp.org.
