Budd Lake, NJ. December 5, 2019. Consolidated Chassis Management (CCM), the leading interoperable gray chassis pool manager in the United States, is pleased to announce the successful launch of its mobile application version of the Chassis MandR System (pronounced man-dar). This new mobile applicationand web-based resource provides full management of chassis maintenance and repair activities for Pool and non-pooled equipment on any handheld smart device.? This allows users, including repair vendors and Intermodal Equipment Providers (IEPs), to realize the full benefits at any location, and at any time for enhanced equipment management and cost control capabilities. The powerful system is extendable to provide full management of M&R activities for other types of assets and equipment types.

"It is a top priority at CCM to optimize supply chain fluidity and informational transparency helps us reach that goal," says CCM VP of Management Information Systems Tom Martucci.? "Smart devices have become essential tools for the modern workforce and are changing the way work gets done. Today, the ever-changing pace of business dynamics requires the ability to access and share accurate information. Utilizing the Chassis MandR system mobile application within the supply chain powers an ecosystem by accelerating the distribution of vital information and promoting collaboration at an industry-wide level."

Critical M&R functionality in the palm of your hand -- on the go and in the field

The easy-to-use resource provides CCM maintenance partners key chassis maintenance and repair information access simply at the touch of a button. The tool, available for download on Google Play or on the Apple App Store, provides insight into specific M&R orders any where in the world, and at any time.

CCM's new Chassis MandR mobile application enables critical updates and reports as well as estimates and invoices for M&R repairs and other features. Users are able to communicate on all M&R estimates, job orders, and details of the chassis with accurate updates and alert messages to maintenance partners as changes are made.?

For example, Chassis MandR mobile application will decommission units out-of -service (OOS) as they in gate. It will also update the Intermodal Association of North America's (IANA's) clearinghouse for Bad Order Equipment Status (BOES) if at a BOES facility, thereby, greatly enhancing the quality, service levels and cost control of these assets. It will also manage both Driver Vehicle Inspection (DVIR) and Driver Vehicle Exception (DVER) reports and record a motor carrier's pre-trip, post-trip, or both.? With addition of the application, it helps to create an environment where users and repair vendors have even greater transparency to accurate and powerful information that can be easily shared -- taking advantage of its mobile functionality and adaptability.? ?

Delivering a seamless and versatile M&R process experience
A fully integrated, end-to-end solution at your fingertips, the Chassis MandR mobile application is designed to simplify the estimating process and relieve the administrative burden. Users can quickly obtain approved repair estimates -- ensuring chassis repair costs and time turnarounds are minimized. The powerful Chassis MandR management platform, whether on the desktop or on a smart device, delivers a seamless user experience into the M&R cycle and its associated costs, thereby, driving efficiencies even further.

"The industry requires tools that can easily and readily share information relevant to the health and status of intermodal equipment," adds CCM VP of Management Information Systems Tom Martucci. "Greater emphasis is being placed on creating systems that exchange information flexibly and efficiently between all industry stakeholders. This was precisely our philosophy when we developed the Chassis MandR system as well as our other management systems in the Chassis Management Application Suite, and it's further strengthened with our recent deployment of our mobile application," says Martucci.?
