Raymond Associate Reaches 50-Year Employment Milestone

September 26, 2019
No Comments

The Raymond Corporation is recognizing one of its employees for 50 years of dedicated service at its headquarters in Greene, New York. Laureen Morley began her career in 1969 as a key punch operator. She eventually transitioned to a mainframe operator role and then an AS400 operator role. For the past 35 years, Morley has worked as a third-shift network administrator.

"We are truly humbled and ecstatic that Laureen is celebrating this great milestone in her career at Raymond. She showcases steadfast commitment, coupled with adaptability, and is always ready to support her coworkers and the company," said Michael Field, CEO, Raymond. "Raymond's employees are what make our company world class, and, without them, we wouldn't operate at the optimum levels that we do."

Morley credits her 50 years of employment success to her coworkers, the responsibilities of her role and her motivation to ensure Raymond is ready to operate the next morning. And, it runs in the family: Morley's son also works at Raymond and is celebrating 10 years of employment in the facilities department.

Raymond celebrates its employees' milestone anniversaries, beginning at five years of employment and every five years following, during quarterly communication sessions. On Sept. 19, 2019, Raymond honored 83 employees who are celebrating milestone anniversaries this fall. Each employee receives a special plaque, recognition pin and framed photo of them with their direct manager, coworkers or the executive staff.
