Panel Built Machine Enclosures Keep Facilities Safe

November 15, 2019

Panel Built, Inc. is a modular construction company that offers a variety of ways for companies and organizations to keep their employees and members safe. The most commonly know method people associate would probably be Panel Built's popular line of security booths and ballistic rated buildings that are used as guard posts for military bases, school systems, and government buildings. However, keeping employees safe goes far beyond the security of a facility. There are a variety of hazards within a facility that can cause harm as well.
For example, at Panel Built, one of the most popular product lines are machine enclosures. One of the main reasons that companies decide to enclose a piece of machinery is to help reduce the noise output in the rest of the facility. Ideally, these machines would be removed or replaced, but if neither of these are viable options, engineering a machine enclosure to reduce the noise is the next best option. This is an example of engineering controls put in place to reduce hazard risks. Engineering controls involve directing the hazard by creating a barrier between the hazard and the employees, or by diverting the hazard away from employees. And not only are Panel Built's enclosures used as a barriers, but they also work controlling heat output from machinery, collecting dust and debris from milling or saw work (via an incorporated ventilation system), or even to keep employees out of a potentially dangerous situation. Panel Built enclosure work in a variety of ways to help keep employees safe and machinery running at optimal levels
Panel Built was founded in 1995 by brothers Pat and Mike Kiernan, and began with the construction of pre-manufactured buildings. Today, Panel Built offers a complete line of custom modular offices, mezzanines, security booths, pre-assembled exterior buildings, and cleanrooms. All our multiple product lines are produced on site, in four state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Panel Built offers "A Better Way to Create Space" for all of your building projects.
