• Dr. Hacegaba has a long history with the City of Long Beach and the last 10 years in executive positions within the port, one of the busiest ports in the U. S. He is presently Deputy Executive Director. Noel Hacegaba is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
• Greg Tuthill is Chief Commercial Officer, leading global sales, marketing and trading teams of SeaCube, one of the largest global container leasing companies. He is a graduate of the State University of NY Maritime College.

He is the 2018 recipient of the Connie Award given in Newark, NJ by CII.

The directors were announced by The Honorable Steven Blust, former chairman of the Federal Maritime Commission and the new president of CII. Mr. Blust, who is also president of the International Institute of Container Lessors, assumes the new position from Michael J. DiVirgilio, who served six years as CII president.

"As CII enters its 60th anniversary year, we thank Mike for his guidance and spirit of generosity during a period of incredible growth and scholarship expansion. We also recognize our new directors who have come on board to help CII expand its franchise, knowing they will bring new energy to our mission," said Mr. Blust.

CII's other new officers are Sue Coffey of The Northwest Seaport Alliance, second vice president; Mike DiVirgilio, second vice president; Anne Kappel of the World Shipping Council, secretary, and Chris Brooks of The Journal of Commerce, treasurer.
