BROOKFIELD, Wisc. (April 22, 2019)- Veteran Supply Chain Executives Daren Samuels and Steven Abbott will conduct a one-hour webinar providing insights on how you can sustain excellence in your own supply chain. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 beginning at noon central/Chicago time.

Participants can expect to hear a macro view of supply chain - present and future universal truths; timely examples and case studies showcasing significant supply chain improvements made within global manufacturing leaders; improvements for the shop floor and with vendors and suppliers and valuable and practical tips you can apply at your own organization and with your suppliers.

"A supply chain can consume up to 85% of a company's revenue," said Practice Director of Manufacturing, Daren Samuels. "Talent and organizational capacity for implementing new strategies and course-correcting when the strategy needs to change is often overlooked. Patina can supply a flexible executive to help with those efforts without disrupting the everyday workflow."

Daren Samuels has over 25 years of experience in the automotive and industrial equipment industries. His focus has been helping OEMs and suppliers solve critical operational and strategic problems, reduce costs, streamline processes, and manage complexity. Some of his career highlights include a $34 million in cost reductions and $63 million in incremental revenue opportunity in OEM aluminum wheel portfolio, analyzed and negotiated contracts with raw material and equipment suppliers, achieved major material cost reductions (>10 percent) and managed production planning and scheduling, delivery, raw material and inventory for 1.3 million aluminum wheels per year with 100 percent delivery performance.

Steven Abbott is an operations and supply chain professional with more than 25 years of experience in strategic planning, purchasing and manufacturing including international assignments in Europe, Australia and China/ASEAN. Steve's industry experiences span automotive, durable goods, IT, electronics, and power generation. Steve's career highlights include industry 4.0 conversion of a home appliance manufacturer, defined automation concepts, sequencing/kitting/lineside delivery routes to yield 68 percent less transportation and 38 percent less manpower and achieved 23 percent reduction in cost for a $107m product line with 636 people and defect rate of 1 part/million.
