InfinityQS Named to Supply & Demand Chain Executive's 2019 List of Top 100 Supply Chain Projects

FAIRFAX, Va. - June 25, 2019 - InfinityQS® International, Inc. (InfinityQS), the global authority on data-driven enterprise quality, announces it has earned a spot on Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine's annual SDCE 100 list of great supply chain projects. In its fifth time on the list, InfinityQS was recognized for helping baked goods supplier Mid South Baking Company modernize quality management within its Pelahatchie, Mississippi plant. Mid South Baking now uses digital data collection and real-time process control to accelerate issue response time, streamline its processes, and reduce giveaway.

Working with InfinityQS, Mid South Baking moved from paper-based to digital data collection and gained real-time insight into production—starting with bun weight. With this first project, the plant saw a 10 percent reduction in the amount of waste per every batch of buns, which in turn minimized lost revenue within just 12 months of implementation. Today with InfinityQS, the plant's operators have on-demand access to quality data, which has streamlined auditing as well as alerts to process deviations for timely fixes. Moreover, a visual dashboard provides an easy way to oversee production and spot process improvement opportunities. The full Mid South Baking case study, "Baked-in Success," is available now on the InfinityQS website.

"We are thrilled to be named to Supply & Demand Chain Executive's coveted SDCE 100 list for the fifth time," said Michael Lyle, President and CEO, InfinityQS. "Our work with Mid South Baking exemplifies why modern manufacturers need real-time access to quality data: to proactively catch problems early in production before they impact the rest of the supply chain. And when companies take the time to truly analyze their collected data, manufacturers can uncover opportunities for process improvement and positively impact the bottom line."

"Every year our list of submissions for the SDCE 100 continues to grow as more companies rely on the expertise of supply management for innovative decision-making. Our winners raise the bar for what is achievable in the supply chain," said John R. Yuva, Editor for Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "With a variety of company sizes and industry sectors represented, our Top 100 are leading examples for how to approach and solve supply chain challenges. Congratulations to our 2019 winners and the projects that delivered greater operational efficiencies and bottom-line results across the supply chain."
