Material Handling Systems Appoints Markus Augeneder as CEO of International

LOUISVILLE, Ky.-- Material Handling Systems, Inc. ("MHS" or the "Company"), a leading provider of advanced parcel sortation systems, engineering, and equipment, today announced that it has appointed Markus Augeneder, the former CEO Central Europe of TGW Logistics Group, as its CEO of International, effective immediately, succeeding Scott McReynolds who recently transitioned to the role of CEO of MHS.

The addition of Mr. Augeneder to MHS's management team further strengthens the Company's operational expertise and talent as it continues to accelerate its global growth strategy. As CEO of International, Mr. Augeneder will be based in the Company's Houten, Netherlands office and will be responsible for overseeing MHS's overall strategic direction and growth outside of North America, while reporting directly to Mr. McReynolds.

About Markus Augeneder

Mr. Augeneder is a seasoned business leader with more than 15 years of relevant logistics, supply chain, engineering, and operational management experience. Most recently, Mr. Augeneder served as CEO Central Europe of TGW Logistics Group, a leading global systems provider of highly-dynamic, automated and turnkey logistics solutions based in Austria, where he led the company's overall strategic direction and business growth across Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to that, Mr. Augeneder served as CFO of Hervis Sport and Fashion, an Austrian-based sporting goods retail chain with over 2,600 employees and a presence across Europe, where he oversaw the company's areas of finance and controlling, IT, logistics and organization, personnel and development. Before that, he served as Head of IT, procurement, logistics and organization for Sport Eybl & Sports Experts. Mr. Augeneder graduated from the Technical University of Vienna with a degree in Electrical Engineering and also received a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
