NOACA Hosts Ohio Conference on Freight, Aug. 7-9, 2019

CLEVELAND (Thursday, June 6, 2019) - The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) is hosting the 2019 Ohio Conference on Freight from August 7-9, 2019, at the Downtown Cleveland Westin Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. The Ohio Conference on Freight is the Midwest's leading freight conference, convening more than 300 professionals from across North America to share their expertise in the areas of supply chain/logistics, smart transportation technology, and federal and state policies that support freight-related transportation and economic development. NOACA is this year's conference host, "Weighing in on the Future of Freight."
"We have exciting speakers and topics lined up for this year's Ohio Conference on Freight," says Grace Gallucci, NOACA Executive Director. "Whether you're involved with freight as an engineer, planner, freight company manager, or shipper, you'll come away with information on the latest trends and technology innovation in the freight industry."
The two-and-a half-day conference consists of four plenary sessions and eight breakout sessions covering the latest topics, tools, and trends in the world of freight today. Keynote speakers include:
• Bibop Gresta, Chairman of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies;
• Caitlin G. Hughes, Director of the Office of Freight Management & Operations for the U.S. Federal Highway Administration; and
• Joe Comartin, Consul General of the Consulate General of Canada-Detroit.
Registration for the full conference is $325. Day passes for Thursday, Aug. 8, are $200, and for Friday, Aug. 9, are $125.
