Fortna UK's Michael Marienfeld named Mentor by University of Cambridge

READING, PA (May 20, 2019) - Fortna®, The Distribution Experts®, today announced that Michael Marienfeld, Director, Europe, has been named a "Launchpad Mentor" by the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.

Cambridge Judge Launchpad mentors are assigned to individual students and offer continuous 1:1 practical support throughout the year of the Diploma or the two years of the Masters. They are experienced entrepreneurs who aim to support students to develop their ideas into real businesses, or to find ways of efficiently scaling their existing businesses.

Michael has over 25 years of supply chain and consulting experience ranging from business strategy projects, inventory optimisation and operations design to forecasting. He also has designed, developed and implemented warehouses ranging from small manual operations to fully automated solutions around the world, including India, South Africa, Russia, the United Kingdom and many EU countries for retailers, wholesalers and manufacturing companies.

As a director at Fortna, Michael engages at a senior level to define and direct Clients' supply chain strategies and help to develop their infrastructure requirements. He holds a BA (Hons) in European Business Administration from Middlesex University, a Diplom-Betriebswirt from ESB, Reutlingen, Germany and an MSc in Logistics and Transportation from Cranfield University.
