March 18, 2019 (Dallas, TX) - Transplace, a leading provider of transportation management services and logistics technology, today announced the appointment of Leigh Robinson as the company's chief human resources officer (CHRO). Robinson will lead the human resources (HR) team and oversee all HR strategies and functions, including talent management, leadership development, and compensation and benefits. She will report directly to CEO Frank McGuigan.

"Leigh brings extensive experience managing global teams and a reputation for fostering a strong, inclusive company culture that aligns with Transplace's mission and core values," said McGuigan. "She joins an outstanding HR team whose energy and commitment have supported Transplace during a time of record growth and help make Transplace the company that it is today. Her leadership and strategic approach to talent management and development will strengthen our position as a company that helps employees thrive and delivers exceptional logistics services and technology to its customers."

Robinson comes to Transplace from Lennox International, where she served as vice president of HR and diversity & inclusion officer, leading a team of over 45 HR professionals and support staff. She has significant experience supporting global teams and projects in a variety of geographies, and through her strategic leadership she launched and revamped enterprise-wide programs that improved diversity representation, while strengthening inclusive leadership culture, generating increased employee engagement scores as well as boosting internal promotions/transfers.

Prior to Lennox, Robinson held several leadership positions at Honeywell, where she gained global experience in many areas of human capital, with strong focus on staff development, compensation & incentives, and retention strategies in the supply chain organization, international business units and corporate HR.

"I am excited to join a company with such a strong customer and employee-focused culture," said Robinson. "I look forward to helping Transplace build on its excellent employee management and development programs and continue to nurture an environment that supports innovation and collaboration."
