SEACUBE CONTAINER LEASING AWARDED U. S. TRANSPORTATION COMMAND CONTRACT

WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ, January 31, 2019 -- SeaCube Container Leasing International, one of the world's leading container leasing companies, has been awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contracts for leasing and transportation of intermodal container equipment. Performance is from March 1, 2019, to Feb. 29, 2020. Work will be performed at multiple continental U.S. and outside continental U.S. locations. The contracts utilize fiscal 2019 and fiscal 2020 operations and maintenance funding. The U.S. Transportation Command, Directorate of Acquisition, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, is the contracting activity.

Robert Sappio, SeaCube CEO, said: "We are very proud to be serving our military men and women. Expanding our book of business into adjacent spaces, and doing so in such a way that drives value creation now and in the future, is consistent with our stated strategy." He added: "This is a good day for our company and all the men and women at SeaCube who have worked so hard to make this happen."

SeaCube was one of three leasing companies to be awarded under this contract.
