Cimcorp to Highlight Automated Order Picking Systems for Maximizing Product Freshness at ProMat 2019

March 12, 2019
No Comments

GRIMSBY, Ontario - March 12, 2019 - Cimcorp, a manufacturer and integrator of turnkey robotic order fulfillment and tire handling solutions, announces it will be exhibiting at booth #S1218 at ProMat 2019, on April 8-11 in Chicago. Throughout the show, Cimcorp will be demonstrating its automated systems for rapid, accurate order fulfillment. These solutions help to ensure product freshness in food distribution and to optimize warehouse operations during seasonal peaks in business.

Designed to increase speeds, eliminate errors and reduce labor costs, Cimcorp's robotic solutions can fully automate distribution, or work as an "island of automation" amongst other manual processes.
For distribution centers with perishable goods—such as in the fresh produce, bakery and dairy industries—Cimcorp offers buffer storage and order picking as a single operation. This enables such facilities to shorten their lead times, thereby maximizing product shelf life.

Highly flexible and scalable, Cimcorp's solutions readily address shifting consumer demands for more frequent orders and smaller order lines, as well as seasonal spikes in volume. Through high-density storage, Cimcorp's customers are able to better utilize their warehousing space, leaving room for future growth. All material flow is managed by Cimcorp's Warehouse Control System (WCS), which also provides full product tracking and traceability.

Rick Trigatti, President, Cimcorp Automation Ltd., said, "In today's fast-paced, high-demand marketplaces, it is becoming nearly impossible for companies to effectively distribute their products to consumers without some help via technology—especially when time is of the essence like with fresh goods and products. At Cimcorp, we offer proven solutions to this challenge. From grocers and breweries, to bakeries and beauty, we have worked with a wide number of clients to automate and streamline their order fulfillment operations, overcoming tough challenges in storage, efficiency and labor."

To schedule a booth visit and/or interview with a Cimcorp representative, media should contact Edward Lin at 240-686-1000 or elin@dprgroup.com.
