Pure Safety Group (PSG), the largest company dedicated solely to fall protection, has added safety industry veteran Scot McLean to its leadership team. McLean will become vice president of national accounts at PSG, effective Jan. 2. In this role, he will work closely with the company's largest customers and distributors in the construction, oil and gas, energy, utilities, telecom, mining and transportation industries.
McLean has 40 years of safety industry experience, including in fall protection. "Scot is a highly accomplished business leader with an outstanding reputation and record for building businesses," said PSG Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tony Coco. "We're privileged to have a leader of his caliber joining the PSG team."

With significant experience in the industrial distribution of manufactured products, McLean was most recently president of international operations and business development at Haws Corporation, a water and emergency products company. He also served as vice president of Americas sales for Miller Fall Protection Division and vice president of Canadian and Northeastern U.S. sales for WGM Safety (both companies are now part of Bacou-Dalloz), and as regional general manager of Safety Supply Canada.
