HILLIARD, Ohio (Nov. 20, 2018) — VARGO®, a leading provider of material-handling systems integration, warehouse execution software and equipment solutions for major fulfillment and distribution centers, has hired Charles Yazoume Lamien as a project manager on the systems integration team.

In this role, Lamien will serve as a key team member, providing project management to support existing projects and new business development efforts. He will plan and organize resources to complete projects on time and within budget. Lamien will also monitor and control activities in order to meet project deliverables.

"Charles brings a vast wealth of hands-on experience to our systems integration team," said Bart Cera, CFO and COO. "The skills and knowledge he has developed in the material handling industry are sure to benefit VARGO® as we continually search for new ways to optimize our processes and solutions for our customers."

Before joining VARGO®, Lamien was as a project manager of the modifications and upgrades group at Intelligrated, a material handling automation and software engineering company based in Mason, Ohio. Prior to that, Lamien worked as a controls engineer at Dematic, a supplier of automated supply chain technology, software and services based in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Lamien grew up in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, in western Africa. He graduated from a technical high school in Ouagadougou in 1998 before receiving a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the National School of Engineering in Lomé, Togo, Africa in 2003. In 2013, Lamien earned a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
