ICC Logistics Services, Inc. Names Laura Schwier President

Hicksville, NY, October 9, 2018--Hicksville-based logistics consulting firm ICC Logistics Services, Inc. announces today it has named Laura Schwier President of the company. A 39-year veteran in the logistics industry and an integral member of the ICC Logistics team during the same period, Schwier has performed nearly every function of service the company provides which makes her uniquely qualified for her new position.

In the role of president, Schwier will be responsible for the daily operations of the firm from the Hicksville headquarters. She succeeds Anthony (Tony) Nuzio, Founder and CEO, who will continue to be a part of the executive team and support Schwier's leadership.

Schwier's industry knowledge in parcel and trucking rates have resulted in tens of millions of dollars in savings for ICC's clients over the years. With a background in finance and computer science, Schwier created ICC's state-of- the-art parcel optimization analysis program that has yielded ICC's clients tens of millions of dollars in savings. She is credited with creating important strategic alliances that led to the creation of ICC's comprehensive parcel audit program and also serves as assistant editor for ICC's popular opt-in newsletter, Logistics Strategies. She brings exceptional enthusiasm, years of industry knowledge, outstanding client relations and extraordinary technical know-how to this new position.
