There's no doubt about it ... times are tough. Bad news bombards us all day long. But before you think about cutting back on your support of CSCMP, consider that it's precisely when times get tough that you need the support of your association. That's true now more than ever.

Think about it. When you need supply chain management information, research, or contacts, where do you turn for help? To CSCMP, of course. We're here for you, but it's your continued support and involvement that makes it possible for us to provide the resources you need to stay competitive in today's uncertain marketplace.

Our goal is to provide you with unparalleled educational opportunities that not only advance the supply chain management profession but also enhance your career. We connect you with peers around the world to facilitate meaningful conversations and long-lasting professional relationships. We're committed to collaborating with other organizations that have similar interests so we can offer you a broader range of events and products. When you're able to perform better at your job, we know we're doing ours.

We're constantly coming up with new and innovative ways to deliver on these promises. Just one example: We created CSCMP On- Site Education to provide you with professional development workshops specifically designed for your organization. Best of all, we bring these workshops right to your facility to save you time and money.

CSCMP is also your career connection.

This is the perfect time to re-examine your career path. Is your job a good fit? Are you where you want to be? Are you being paid what you're worth? Are you valued by your company? If you answered "no" to any of these questions, visit the CSCMP Career Center job board to find the best jobs in the supply chain management profession.

Even if you didn't answer "no" to any of these questions, CSCMP's career resources can help you be aware of the kinds of positions that organizations are seeking to fill, which companies are hiring, and what new skills you may need. If you're being asked to do more at your company in areas you may not be familiar with, let CSCMP provide you with the training and expertise you need to confidently tackle new tasks and work more efficiently.

Roundtables remain a vital part of our organization. Today, we have nearly 100 roundtables around the world, bringing more than 400 programs annually to thousands of supply chain management professionals. CSCMP's roundtables help us connect members and potential members at the local level, so get involved in yours today. It's always a good time to stay in touch with your network and maintain these relationships.

There's a lot of uncertainty out there right now, but there is one thing you can be certain about: CSCMP will continue to support you with the highest-quality supply chain management products, services, programs, and connections that you'll find anywhere in the world.
