Birmingham, AL - June 5, 2018 - Command Alkon, the global leader in integrated supply chain technology solutions for the Heavy Building Materials industry, announces its new TrackIt Turn-Key Service that will replace hardware failures or repair warranty issues at no charge to the customer while also eliminating large, upfront CapEx costs. The service rolls out this month and offers new ruggedized tablet options with replaceable batteries and new, fully functional and reliable engine interface devices.

"We've bundled together all the hardware, technology, engine connectivity devices, and installation into a single predictable monthly package," said Monty Newport, Senior Vice President of Sales and Customer Success. "We're delighted to be able to help our customers avoid the risk and the large, upfront capital expenditure associated with hardware procurement, installation and functionality."

TrackIt Turn-Key Service is available today in the U.S. market. There are two highly effective and trustworthy hardware options:

1) Samsung Galaxy Tab Active II
2) Panasonic Tough Tab B2

"TrackIt Turn-Key Service was developed in response to customer requests, and reflects Command Alkon's commitment to deliver A+ Customer Experiences," added Newport. "Our TrackIt engineers have been working hard to find the most dependable hardware that we can provide for the TrackIt platform in our customers' trucks."

People with requirements for robust engine diagnostics also benefit from the new TrackIt Turn-Key Service solution. A new Engine Data Connection (EDC) device is optional, along with a specialized software stack from a company called Noregon, which will provide customers with more reliable, and more overall engine data than has ever been available. The combination of the EDC device with the software will allow fleet owners and operators to easily capture and transfer the engine diagnostic data from their trucks.
