CME to Provide Exclusive Biomedical Services to CNECT Members

CME Corp (CME), a healthcare equipment and logistics solutions company, is pleased to continue its expansion of biomedical services by partnering with CNECT, a national group purchasing organization, to provide support for its network's members across the entire equipment lifecycle.

The proper management of medical equipment can save healthcare systems time and money while also allowing facility staff to focus on patient care. CME's holistic approach to the equipment lifecycle shifts the stress off care management teams as the company's technical experts focus on installing, calibrating and maintaining their equipment.

"We are all extremely excited to bring our equipment solutions to CNECT's diverse membership base including physician offices, labs, surgery centers, veterinary services and even non-healthcare entities that need on-site equipment services," said Dan Chevrette, Director of National Services for CME. "Qualified biomedical technicians are in high demand and CME is well positioned to offer remarkable nationwide equipment support with more than 30 service centers. We are proud to offer our biomedical services as well as our full spectrum of healthcare equipment needs to CNECT members."

In addition to annual safety inspections, performance assessments and other evaluations, CME's biomedical services include preventative maintenance and repair services, incorporating recall support services and loaner equipment. CNECT members, regardless of class of trade, will have access to CME's full suite of biomedical services including exclusive discounts.

"CNECT has been looking for a strategic supplier in the biomed services space for some time to serve our national membership. When we evaluated CME's offering, we knew it was a perfect fit" explained Lindsay Reital, Sr. Vice President of Strategy, Marketing, and Operations at CNECT. "This is yet another example of how CNECT members stay in the forefront of supply chain strategies by gaining access to new and innovative partnerships."
