BEUMER to Introduce Innovative New Sortation Solution to North American Market at MODEX 2018

March 13, 2018
No Comments

SOMERSET, NJ (March 13, 2018) - BEUMER Group, an international leader in the manufacture of intralogistics systems for sortation and distribution, will introduce an innovative new high-performance sorter solution at Booth #B3555 during MODEX 2018, April 9-12 at Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

Visitors to Booth #B3555 will experience a new, cutting-edge sortation solution that will be released to the North American market for the first time. In particular, the new technology is designed to provide optimum support for warehouses and distribution hubs operating in the demanding e-commerce and Industry 4.0 environments.

BEUMER Group will also continue the rollout of the BG Line Sorter. Combining the simplicity of line-based sorting with the advanced handling capabilities of a high-speed, cross-belt sorter, the BG Line Sorter creates a radically new type of line sorter technology that raises the benchmarks for material handling in mid-volume facilities.

Also at MODEX 2018, BEUMER Group will be using virtual and augmented reality to allow booth visitors to experience warehouse automation first hand. The BEUMER Group booth will feature an HTC Vive VR System that takes visitors inside an automated warehouse. And using an iPad, visitors will be able to follow their package through an augmented warehouse.

BEUMER Group sortation experts will be on hand throughout the April 9-12 trade show to discuss key issues impacting customers' operations, including order accuracy, omni-channel fulfillment strategies, improving throughput and service levels, and peak-season planning.

Additionally, Brad Radcliffe, Vice President of Sales, Sortation & Distribution for BEUMER Corporation, will address reverse logistics challenges and offer solutions in his presentation, "Reverse Logistics: No Longer a Supply Chain Afterthought," on April 9 at 2:15 p.m. in Theater H during MODEX 2018.
