CME Names New Head of Biomedical Services

March 8, 2018
No Comments

In a move that will strengthen its biomedical services, CME Corp (CME) is excited to announce the promotion of Daniel Chevrette to director of national services.

Biomedical services have quickly become some of the most vital to healthcare systems. When installed, calibrated and maintained correctly, appropriate equipment can save hospitals time and money and enable clinicians in their efforts to facilitate better patient outcomes. Daniel has been with the company 14 years holding roles across the organization, most recently in both inside and outside sales.

"A misdiagnosis can be extremely costly and dangerous for a healthcare facility, and too often these mistakes could have been avoided through better biomedical services," said Chevrette, who will be based out of CME's Philadelphia office. "I am looking forward to this exciting new opportunity to bring these important medical solutions to our existing and new customers."

The nationwide shortage of qualified biomedical technicians has created a growing demand for CME's complete suite of biomedical services, and Chevrette is well-positioned to lead this effort with his unique experience and long history in the company.

"We are thrilled to have Dan as our director of national services as we continue to increase CME's footprint and offer supply-chain solutions across the United States," said K.C. Meleski, CME's vice president of sales. "His leadership and familiarity with our manufacturers will enhance CME's ability to bring our service expertise and product solutions to every type of healthcare delivery system in the country."

CME's nationwide biomed team offers full-service preventive maintenance contracts to the non-acute and post-acute markets and can augment a hospital system's in-house biomed team when needed. They currently have national contracts with several non-acute systems to administer their preventative maintenance programs. Having a national biomed corps fits in with CME's cradle-to-grave approach with equipment.

ABOUT CME CORP: CME is a comprehensive healthcare equipment and turn-key logistics company providing personalized support and service. With service centers nationwide that offer more than 1 million medical products from over 1,400 manufacturers, CME works to be a healthcare system's complete equipment solution providing product selection, procurement, warehousing, assembly, staging, direct-to-site delivery, installation, and biomed services for all of its equipment.
