CSCMP's Supply Chain Quarterly and sister publication DC Velocity hosted their annual reception and dinner at the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals' 2016 Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. The invitation-only event brings together a select group of logistics and supply chain professionals who have been profiled in DC Velocity's Thought Leader Q&A series or have been a recipient of its annual Logistics Rainmakers designation. CSCMP's leadership, including CEO Rick Blasgen and members of the board of directors, were among those on hand for an evening of thought-provoking discussion and networking. The event was generously supported by Cognizant, GT Nexus, U.S. Bank, JLL, and Tranzact Technologies.

The winners of CSCMP's 2016 Emerging Leader Award, (left to right) Paul Rohrbaugh, Sterling Simulation, Brian Johnson, C.H. Robinson Worldwide, and Diego De la Garza, Source One Management Services, in discussion with Dr. Chris Caplice of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and recipient of CSCMP's 2016 Distinguished Service Award.

Thoughtful conversation between Joel Sutherland, managing director, Supply Chain Management Institute, University of San Diego, and Kathryn Wengel, worldwide vice president, Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain.

The ideas were flowing and the conversation was lively during the networking reception that preceded the dinner.

Two pioneers of supply chain management, Dr. James Stock, Distinguished University Professor at University of South Florida (left), and Cliff Lynch, a longtime practitioner, consultant, and industry thought leader, share a friendly moment.
