Few business disciplines in the past decade have evolved as quickly as supply chain management. For the most part, the visionaries who have driven these radical changes are not well known to the general public and have remained "unsung heroes." As a CSCMP member, you can make sure that these game changers get the recognition they deserve by nominating them for the organization's prestigious Distinguished Service Award (DSA).
CSCMP's Distinguished Service Award is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon an individual for achievement in the fields of logistics and supply chain management. It is presented annually to an academic, consultant, or practitioner who exemplifies sustained, consistent, and excellent service to the development of the disciplines of logistics and supply chain management. The selected individual will have shown high integrity and moral principles throughout his or her professional career.
As a CSCMP member, you are eligible to submit a nomination for this award. Nominees will be judged on five criteria:
All submissions must be received by April 30, 2016. The 2016 award winner will be recognized at CSCMP's Annual Conference, scheduled for September 25-28, 2016, in Orlando, Florida, USA.
Members can also consider submitting nominations for CSCMP's other annual awards: the Doctoral Dissertation Award, Young Professionals Emerging Leader Award, the Supply Chain Innovation Award, the Bernard J. La Londe Best Paper Award, and the E. Grosvenor Plowman Award.
More information about all of these recognitions and how to apply for them is available at cscmp.org under the "Career & Awards" tab.
