Seminar to explore European supply chain management issues
Horizontal collaboration. Sustainable logistics. Big data analytics. CSCMP's 11th Annual European Research Seminar (ERS), scheduled for May 12-13, 2016, in Vienna, Austria, will dive into these and other leading-edge topics in supply chain management.
The purpose of the seminar is to highlight and discuss contemporary issues in European logistics and supply chain management. Hosted by CSCMP and the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), the seminar is designed for members of the European academic research community, but is not limited to them; all are welcome to attend.
The event will focus on new developments and top-quality research from participants. To play a part in the program, interested parties should submit a full research paper, work-in-progress paper, or discussion topic by February 22, 2016. Full papers submitted to the seminar will be reviewed for potential publication in the Journal of Business Logistics (JBL) and will be subjected to a double-blind review process by a board of predominantly European reviewers.
Discussion topics should be of high relevance for academic research and/or the future development of the discipline; these topics should focus on new areas of research and exploiting new research methods. For more information about the program, go to cscmp.org/academia/european-research-seminar.
