CSCMP hosts conferences in three supply chain "hotspots"
As a truly global organization, CSCMP is tuned in to the big issues facing supply chain professionals around the world. That's why in 2012 we're offering conferences in three of the world's top supply chain "hotspots." CSCMP Europe, CSCMP India, and our Annual Global Conference in the United States all offer robust education and networking opportunities.
At CSCMP Europe 2012 in Frankfurt, Germany, from April 23-25, supply chain thought leaders will discuss the competencies needed to succeed in today's marketplace, including performance measurement, talent acquisition and management, collaboration, risk management, and customer relationship management. Peter D. Gibbons, the executive vice president of global supply chain operations at Starbucks Coffee Company, will deliver the keynote address.
CSCMP India 2012, which takes place June 1-2 in Mumbai, will investigate creative approaches for achieving supply chain profitability. Presentations by leading supply chain authorities from across the globe will focus on network design, risk management, talent management, sales and operations planning, sustainability, and collaboration.
CSCMP's Annual Global Conference 2012 will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, from September 30 through October 3. The conference, which last year drew thousands of attendees from 42 countries, will include educational sessions on hundreds of current supply chain management and logistics topics, pre-conference workshops, the Supply Chain of the Future exhibition, tours of local facilities, and numerous networking opportunities.

Seeking "hall of famers" for Distinguished Service Award
Do you know someone who deserves to be in the supply chain "hall of fame"? CSCMP is now accepting nominations for the 2012 Distinguished Service Award (DSA). If one of your colleagues or mentors has made outstanding, career-long contributions to the supply chain management profession, this is your opportunity to help him or her receive recognition for those achievements.
Candidates will be evaluated on the following criteria: sustained and distinguished record of contribution to the field, recognition as a leader, recognition as an innovator, and a record of enhancing the understanding of the supply chain management profession through both oral and written communications.
The deadline for nominations is April 27, 2012. The award recipient will be honored at CSCMP's 2012 Annual Global Conference.
